Tony Green currently works as a safety solutions ambassador in the climate space for GreenGridInc a climate–tech company dedicated to preventing utility caused wildfires based in San Ramon, California.
His 20+ years of experience in high-tech and clean tech as engineer, sales, and marketing professional, and a science instructor/teacher allow him to speak “science” as well as “people” while explaining complicated topics in easy-to-understand terminology.
Before his current position working in climate–tech working to prevent catastrophic forest fires, Tony served as a nuclear reactor operator about the U.S.S. Topeka, a fast-attack submarine based out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Tony was recently selected to the inaugural climatebase fellowship, an accelerator designed on spawning the next generation of climate-tech professionals.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in technology management. In his spare time, the author speaks on issues including sustainability and climate change and monitors U.S. nuclear weapons and policy as a board member at Tri-Valley CAREs in Livermore, CA.
