Susi Snyder coordinates the Don’t Bank on the Bomb research and campaign. In addition to the annual Don’t Bank on the Bomb reports, Snyder has published numerous reports and articles, including: Complicit: 2020 global nuclear weapons spending (2021); Nuclear weapons and the digital age; what now? (2020); Producing mass destruction: Private companies and the nuclear weapons industry (2019); Shorting our security- Financing the companies that make nuclear weapons (2019).
She has also contributed to a number of recent books, including A World Free from Nuclear Weapons (2020), Sleepwalking to Armageddon: The Threat of Nuclear Annihilation (2017) and War and Environment Reader (2018). She has been featured in 360 Magazine, Quartz, the Intercept, Huffington Post, U.S. News and World Report, and on Democracy Now. Snyder is a Foreign Policy Interrupted/Bard College 2020 fellow, a Nuclear Free Future Award Laureate, and was once named a Hero of Las Vegas for her work with Indigenous communities against U.S. nuclear weapons development and waste dumping. Previously, she served as the Secretary General of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom at their Geneva secretariat.
