The UAE-Turkey rivalry: An enduring and globalized competition
Samuel Ramani is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Politics and International Relations at St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford. His research focuses on post-1991 Russian foreign policy and Russia’s policy towards the Middle East. Samuel is a geopolitical commentator who contributes regularly to the Washington Post, The Diplomat, Al-Monitor, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Middle East Institute. Samuel has briefed the NATO Intelligence Fusion Centre, U.S. Department of State, UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and France’s Ministry of Defense on issues relating to Russian foreign and security policy.
