Shruti Punia is an analytical, multilingual professional with a strong focus on strategic security, arms proliferation, and politics in the MENA region. She has a successful track record in policy advocacy assignments for various organizations such as Govt. of India, United Nations projects in India, and disarmament initiatives in Switzerland. She was associated as a Project Assistant at SCRAPS Weapons Initiative in London, UK, and presented on ‘Non-Proliferation Treaty 2020 and General and Complete Disarmament’ at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), Switzerland; and ‘WMD-Free Zone in the Middle East’ at The Nuclear Forum, Amman in November 2021. Currently, she works as a Policy Analyst at the Quality Council of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Shruti holds a Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
