Salome Pachkoria is a Researcher at the Center for International Policy and a current graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She is pursuing a dual master’s degree focusing on International Policy and Development and International Trade and Economic Diplomacy. She is also a graduate of the Free University of Tbilisi where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. Prior to joining CIP, Salome interned at the Parliament of Georgia and has worked at Mixed-Methods Evaluation, Training, and Analysis (META) Lab located at her graduate school focusing on qualitative and quantitative data analysis and data visualization. Salome is from Georgia and her interests include foreign policies of post-soviet countries and Russia’s influence on them, pro-western and anti-western sentiments in these countries, as well as the impact of these processes on U.S. foreign policy.
