Matthew Warshauer is professor of political and constitution history at Central Connecticut State University. He has written widely on such topics as Andrew Jackson, the American Civil War, slavery, and the history of Connecticut. He is the author and editor of several books, including Andrew Jackson and the Politics of Martial Law: Nationalism, Civil Liberties, and Partisanship.
Over the past few years he has become captivated by the meaning of 9/11 and its long-term impact on America. He recently completed a book manuscript titled, American Chaos and the Birth of the 9/11 Generation.
