Marguerite Benson

Marguerite Rivard Benson is the founder of Sticky Wicket Advising in Washington, DC. She previously worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she advised public-sector defense and security clients on strategy development, organizational design and effectiveness, and change management. Prior to consulting, she spent more than a decade as a manager and analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. Department of Defense, and U.S. Agency for International Development. Marguerite has also been a Fulbright Fellow in Poland and an election monitor in Ukraine. She has an M.A. in Eastern European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland and a B.A. in International Relations from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. Marguerite enjoys playing the violin in her band, baking sourdough bread, playing mahjong, cheering at DC United soccer games, and planning her next adventure.
