Jonathan Hunt

Dr. Jonathan Hunt is a Lecturer in Modern Global History at the University of Southampton, who studies the history of U.S. foreign policy and international relations since 1900. From Austin, Texas, he earned his BA and PhD at the University of Texas at Austin, and has held fellowship or visiting positions at Stanford University, RAND Corporation, Emory University, the Davis Center for Advanced Russian Studies at Harvard University, the Rothermere American Institute at the University of Oxford, and the Kennan Institute at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. He has a book manuscript, “Atomic Reaction: The Nuclear Revolution and America’s New Global Mission, 1945-1970” and is the co-editor, with Dr. Simon Miles of Duke University, of “The Reagan Moment: America and the World in the 1980s.”
