Why NATO should work with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization for post-pandemic collective security
Francis Kornegay, a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Global Dialogue, is an alumnus of the Woodrow Wilson International Center of Scholars and member of the international editorial advisory board of the Journal of the Indian Ocean Region. He has co-edited two books: “Laying the BRICS of a New Global Order” (2013) and “Africa and the World: Navigating Shifting Geopolitics” (2020). Before residing in South Africa, Kornegay served twice as a professional staffer in the U.S. Congress, helped establish the Research and Evaluation Office in the African Development Foundation and was an editor at the African Bibliographic Center. He is also a past director of the South African office of the African-American Institute. He hold two masters degrees: School of Advanced International Studies, John Hopkins and from Howard University. His did his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan.
