Polls: Black Americans less inclined to support Ukraine if it leads to US war

Christopher Shell is a fellow in the American Statecraft Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. At Carnegie, Christopher leads a project that examines African Americans thoughts and attitudes towards U.S. foreign policy in the 21st Century. Prior to joining Carnegie, he earned his Ph.D. in Latin American and Caribbean history from Michigan State University. His dissertation is a political narrative that chronicles anti-colonial activism in the British Caribbean during the interwar years. His work has appeared in Picturing Black History, the Journal for African American History, Gotham: A Blog for Scholars of New York City History, and elsewhere.
