EU’s diplomacy-first foreign policy fades in response to Ukraine war
Alexandra Gerasimcikova is Middle East Adviser at the Brussels-based advocacy non-profit ACT Alliance EU. In this capacity, Alexandra is advising humanitarian and development aid agencies on EU policy and external action in the region. Her expertise lies in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, post-Soviet space, and Europe’s foreign policy decision-making in its neighborhood. She holds a masters degree in Middle East, Caucasus and Central Asia Security from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
